Jessica McKee’s dance background embraces a wide range of movement forms including Belly Dance, Aerial arts, Free Form Uprock, and Capoeira. In 1991, she studied Kathak and Yoga in India, where she fell in love with intricate rhythms. Jessica later participated for six years as choreographer and lead dancer for Shaken not Stirred Middle Eastern Dance Ensemble, directed by Sharon O’Meara. While in the Bay Area, she has enjoyed the opportunity of performing for pioneering aerial dancer, Terry Sendgraff, as well as Gregangelo and Velocity Circus, Project Bandaloop, and for Paco Gomes and Dancers. Presently, she is co-directing and choreographing for Zooz Dance Company. Jessica recently graduated from San Francisco State with a BA in dance performance and choreography.
