KT’s background in performance is wide ranging, from ballet, to fire performance, to musical theatre.  She graduated with honors from the University of Milwaukee Wisconsin in 2002, earning her BFA in dance with a focus in Modern.  There she studied under professors Ed Burgess, Janet Lilly, and Andre Tyson.

During that time, she also traveled to Brisbane, Australia to study contemporary dance at the Queensland University of Technology with John Utans.  While in Brisbane, she picked up the fire staff and has had no inclination to put it down since, ever adding new tools and tricks to her fire performance repertoire.  "I LOVE THE FIRE!!!"

Since graduating KT has been performing professionally as well as producing her own dance events and creating choreography in Milwaukee.  She founded a dance program at the non-profit, Bucketworks, in 2004, and shortly thereafter, founded her own fire troupe, Arson Etiquette, in 2005.

KT recently moved to the Bay area after globe trotting for the past year.  Travels have taken her from Turkey, to France, Australia, and Japan, from the Midwest to Los Angeles, New Orleans, Hawaii and of course cities on other planets like Black Rock City.  Now putting down roots in California, KT is pursuing her artistic visions, branching out into rap and performance art while tending a whole garden of new friends.  "I LOVE CALIFORNIA!"
