Thanks to all who came, performed and helped with the Burn Barrel show. It was an overwhelming success!

The Copper Lantern Fire Theater is pleased to announce that it will be partnering with PureKT Productions and the Department of Spontaneous Combustion to stage a new full-length show, Burn Barrel on Thursday, May 22 & Friday, May 23, 2008. Three main acts will be featured, including our new “futurepast” work-in-progress, Ex Machina. In an industrial landscape full of grease, gears & steam, an over-worked engineer contemplates her tenuous relationship with technology. This multi-media production weaves together fire performance, flame effects, intricate modern dance, physical comedy, kinetic sculpture and a powerful musical mix. Between acts, a speakeasy with sideshow feats from aerialists to ghastly storytellers will stitch together the dark fabric of the Bay Area night. More details to come!
